Autoresponders and Squeeze Pages - Two Affiliate Site Marketing Tools You Can't Live Without
Want to get your slice of the pie?
If you’re looking for ways to monetize your affiliate sites, you’ll want to consider the handy squeeze page and autoresponder. Using squeeze pages to get conversions is an effective method that is eased by the use of an autoresponder. This affiliate marketing strategy is especially effective for high payout conversion promotions. To start off, you'll need to write (or hire someone to write) a lot of content for your home website. Plump up a website with gobs of information about your chosen topic. Make sure it's truly useful information. However, you’ve got to save your gems – the stuff they are willing to pay for – for your offers. You’ll need to gather their contact information so you can start marketing to these people directly. You can get them to give you this information if you provide a few very compelling pages of content for free, and then offer more (even better) content if they'll register with the site (for free, and only ask for name and email address). Use the email address to send them a value-packed email with good useful tidbits in it. Follow this with another email, one that provides valuable information and a free offer, one that most likely doesn't pay you all that much and won't require too much action on their part - like just entering contact info (which they've already done once, so shouldn't be a big deal.) Send them a follow up email after that with additional information and your pitch for your big offer, the one you really want to sell. This is a multi-step process, but a copywriter can help you get the emails and web pages written. An autoresponder can also ease the process, since you won't have to manually send all those emails. The trick is to build trust, share good information for free, and pique interest so the audience will trust you and will try your offers.
