New Hampshire is one of the most quaint and most beautiful places to visit in America - as it is a quintessential encapsulation of the New England countryside, and as it offers a lot of cool things to see and do to boot! If New Hampshire has ever appealed to you as a possible vacation destination (or if you are already planning a trip to New Hampshire), here are a few things for you to make sure you see on your visit.
Coastline: Despite how "tall" the state of New Hampshire is, there are only 18 miles of coastline in the state, as Maine squeezes out most of the state's access to the ocean; these 18 miles, however, are full of beautiful, North Atlantic beaches that are sure to leave you feeling satisfied and fulfilled.
White Mountains: If you ever visit New England in the winter, the White Mountains are the place to go for great skiing, but even if you are going to New Hampshire in the summer, many of the ski resorts keep a couple of their lifts open so that people can go to the top of the mountains and hike down - catching as much of the scenery (and taking as many pictures!) as they can.
Covered bridges: As you travel through the state of New Hampshire, you will find the famous covered bridges everywhere - many of which you can drive across, some of which you can walk across, and all of which are excellent picture opportunities!
Countryside: With how vast the New Hampshire countryside is, it can seem like the availibility of picture-taking opportunities and beautiful scenery are endless; rather than planning specific places to see in the countryside, you might be best served simply driving around and exploring, as you will come across old colonial homes and farms, rolling hills, grist mills, lakes, meadows, and woods!
If you are hoping to take a wonderful trip that puts endless beauty all around you, you should consider taking a trip to New Hampshire; after a week or two of exploring, you may wish you never had to leave!
